Action Comics, Vol. 1 – Issue 842

The world still questions whether Superman has truly returned or not, but he’s caught up trying to prevent an alien consortium from picking the Earth clean. The Auctioneer has been stealing everything… military hardware, buildings, national landmarks. Until Superman gets his attention, that is. When he realizes that there are three Kryptonians on this planet, he sees the value in the meta-human population. He orders his unit to start rounding up heroes and villains instead. Superman finds himself in strange company, with the new Aquaman, Skyrocket of the Power Company, Livewire, The Veteran, and Blue Jay. They’re quickly joined by Firestorm and Nightwing, who have stowed aboard the Auctioneer’s machine in an attempt to find the others. Even amongst this company, there’s doubt as to whether or not Superman is the genuine article, so they spend most of their time bickering over who should be leading them. Can this ragtag group get their acts together in time to stop the Auctioneer from selling the Earth and everything on it?
