The Champions are adjusting to their new member when they are alerted to a problem some distance away. Hawkeye and the Two-Gun Kid are already there, trying to help the locals defend themselves against the mind controlling powers of warlard Kaa. Even if they can manage to defeat a mere shadow, they’ll have another threat to face back home.
