Four Horsemen – Issue 3

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (Famine, War, Pestilence and Death) finally arrive in New York City at midnight on New Year’s Eve in the year 2000. To their shock, they aren’t greeted with fear, but cheered on by revelers who think that they are part of a live concert. Shocked and dismayed by the nature of their welcome, the four retire to a nearby bar where they discuss their place in this new world, and interact with some of the people in it.Pestilence learns that whilte there are still diseases in this world, that most of them can be treated and cured. But there is a new manner of disease that does not affect our bodies, but the body of our society. He declares that surveillance and information will be the symptoms of a new plague that will destroy the human spirit.
