Justice League International / America – Issue 38

£1.00

The reporter, Wally Tortolini, who has been hunting through the Embassy’s garbage writes an artcile which he is convinced will earn him money and respect but, unknown to him, his publisher is owned by the Crimson Fox and orders the piece pulled. The being that took form in space is revealed to be Despero who searches for the League members that defeated him when they last fought; he finds Steel already dead and tracks down Gypsy’s parents and kills them as he waits for her. Returning home, Gyspy manages to escape. The League pick up the distress call and the Martian Manhunter rushes to Gyspy’s rescue.
