Midnighter – Issue 12

Midnighter contacts Mindy, his information broker, and asks her to find out as much about Anthem – the security cabal that is in charge of the Bellwethers in Harmony – as she can. A mystical being possesses a number of people and uses then to force Mindnighter to fight, destroying property and killing people. Mindy watches the encounter on the news as dozens of news cameras arrive on scene. Midnighter defeats the mystical being by transporting the current host into space and leaving her there before quickly returning. Mindy informs him that he was filmed and used as an example of how bad metahumans are, before he returns to Harmony.
