Midnighter – Issue 13

Investigating Anthem, Midnighter visits a deserted a ruined town in Kansas before returning to Harmony. Eventually he heads to one of the corporation’s buildings and speaks to the man in charge who tells him that he and Anthem are determined to remove the threat posed by metahumans who put themselves above the law. Anthem operatives, meanwhile, agree that the office is worth losing and send a strike force to capture Midnighter, having first tipped off the media. The fight goes badly for Midnighter and he is accused of attacking Anthem in full view of the media and captured. Mindy is later approached by a Bellwether and shot at.
