Olympus (Image Comics) – Issue 3A

In antiquity, Tantalus was invited among the gods of Olympus to serve them the food of mortals. For this, he murdered and cooked his own son, Pelops. When his deception was discovered, the gods attempted to reassemble the body of Pelops, but there were pieces missing… pieces that had been eaten before the truth was known. Hephaestus crafted for him a replacement for his right arm, and he was restored to life. But now, Pelops has escaped from the underworld. With the aid of the Harpies, he has begun murdering the daughters of Demeter, who embody the seasons of the Earth. But while the Gemini are first lead to believe that his motivations are based in revenge, they soon learn that a different desire drives him.
