Black Lightning, in the blief that he’s responsible for a man having died, has voluntarily surrendered himself to Checkmate to be placed in a maximum security metahuman prision to serve his time. Because of his identity, he’s been placed there under an alias… but someone in Checkmate has leaked the truth to someone in the prison, and Black Lightning’s life is in danger.The Outsiders are the only ones who know the truth, having been tipped off by the least likely person imaginable… The Red Hood, Jason Todd. Based on the danger to his life, the team makes plans to break Black Lightning out of prison to save his life. But how will the team handle it when things turn horribly, horribly wrong?
