Katchoo has vanished. Neither Darcy Parker’s agents, nor her own friends have any idea where she’s gone. David’s been by Francine’s side since the disappearance, but it’s clearly taking a toll on her. Darcy is also becoming frantic. Not only is finding Katchoo worth the matter of $850,000 but Digman, the PI she had tailing Katchoo has survived Tambi’s punishment. If he survives, he could implicate them all for murder. But even as Katchoo eventually calls home to check in with Francine, she learns that someone very close to them is not who they appear to be.
