In the chaos of battle, as the Power Company attempts to stop the Strike Force from making away with the godstone, an ancient artifact of unkown origin, a blast of energy goes wild striking a jewel in the godstone, activating it. Suddenly the power company is facing not only the Strike Force, but an Imperial Dragoneer from another dimension. The Strike Force pulls out until they can get better information, and the Power Company turns their attention to subduing the Dragoneer. Just as Skyrocket has pulled the team together to gain the upper hand, the Strike Force blasts her with a ray that neutralizes her harness. The Dragoneer quickly deals with the rest of the Power Company and makes his getaway after his Dragon seizes the godstone.The media is all over the Power Company’s debut and their future is in doubt. Skyrocket is preparing to leave, when she finds that the Power Company’s technical wizard, Charlie Lau, working on her harnass. She’s furious… until she finds that he’s replaced most of the degrading circuits, and cleaned the ones he couldn’t replace. Her harness is working better than it has in years.Manhunter disappeared right after the Dragoneer did… but contrary to Skyrocket’s assumption, he was tracking the Dragoneer to alcatraz where he is attempting to open the godstone to let his master through into our world. Not wanting to leave something unfinished, Skyrocket joins the Power Company in a second assault on the Dragoneer.
