The Mad Thinker sends most of the X-Men out on a wild goose chase, so she can steal Cerebro’s circuit boards for A.I.M. Knowing that the X-Men will track her down, she leaves a very clear trail, prompting the team to head to the Baxter Building to look for the thief.
