Guido returns to the X-Factor offices after having murdered Henry Buchanan, a scientist trying to escape from Singularity Investigations’ employ with news of a new virus designed to wipe out the mutant branch of humanity. He hasn’t been back long before Rahne gets the scent of Buchanan’s blood on Guido’s hands, leading to a fight. The team discovers that Guido has been turned into a sleeper agent for Singularity Investigations with hypnosis. Since they can’t get Buchanan’s duplicate notes out of the bank without him, they devise a plan to clear Singularity out of their own building so they can try to find the originals.
